Feeding of children was started by the four women’s organizations in Minglanilla last September 5, 2022, benefitting a total of of 1,580 children at present.
The feeding activity is part of the strengthening of the organizations by bringing their members together to cook and distribute food of porridge with chicken tidbits to the children, to socialize with one another and talk about their current problems.
Mutual aid was also seen in the activity since members were the ones who donated the rice, chicken and cups, and volunteered to cook and distribute the food. Furthermore, this was also a way of expanding the organizational membership since the children were not only those of members but new members who were invited to join the organizations.
